Grabbing coords to cliboard format.
« on: January 29, 2012, 10:58:41 »
I've been usig GSAK for a while now, a feature I like is the possibility to grab coords from a map, for example, from this image :

I would select: Coords to clipboard.  It is very helpful.

However this gives the coords in the following format: 45.37124 -75.748705, I prefer having them in the N xx xx.xxx W yyy yy.yyy format.

I've asked on the GSAK forum if it was possible to do and here is their answer.

I've tried the DecMintesGoogleMap macro and it does just what I wanted.  ;D

Whenever I want to add a waypoint, or edit an existing one, in GSAK, I just paste the coords into the coordinate box in whatever format they come in. GSAK automatically converts them in a list below that box, then I cut and paste whatever format I want back into the coordinate box. Easy accurate and fast.
