Its about a good deed done by a great cache owner. We were coming across the border last week and stopped for a couple of quick caches on the Canadian side. We scored a DNF on the last one AND the other half of brewsterjuice somehow lost her sunglasses there. Within an hour of logging the DNF we had an email from cache owner 'Family Ties' that not only had she rushed over to the cache to check that the cache was still in play but ALSO she had found the glasses AND was even willing to drive up and drop them off at our house in Ottawa. And today she did.

A big thanks to Susan of 'Family Ties'!

  • Yes, I probably should be working...
They are excellent ambassadors for the sport and super-nice people.

I had the pleasure of spending time with Dave and Susan during the "Senior Games" in Brockville. We spent time explaining Geocaching to senior visitors from all over Canada. Finer ambassadors for the activity would be difficult to find. "Chick" and I look forward to sharing another dinner with Family Ties. Thanks for all you do!  Inky
