Is it too early yet to submit caches for coordinate verification?  Also how can I ensure that the reviewer won't "lock" the page once the coordinates are approved?  I don't plan to build the puzzle until I am sure the coordinates will be accepted so I will need to be able to modify the text on the cache page.

That would be RDLtrekker.  Photo taken by Nikon-Guy at the "Keewaydin State Park Glacial Features" Earthcache http://coord.info/GC1Q3B6

I've already had a GAG18 location checked by a reviewer and transferred back to me to start to work on.  I've never had a problem with doing this.  For my GAG17 multi they were very helpful in verifying my waypoints and holding the area while I worked on the cache.

I have about 5 lock & locks with no place to go. Does anyone want them? They're different sizes, no camo, but have a note pad, and pencil in them.

I put a bunch together, and will still have enough for me to put some out, so these are extras. Look me up on facebook, and send a message. I'm on fb every lunch time. https://www.facebook.com/GumbyGern

What are the general distance boundaries that are recommended for placing GAG caches?

Really, there is no limit.  We've had people place caches for GAG as far away as Brockville.  However, if you want people to actually attempt your cache as part of GAG over the weekend, you're best to stay as close to city limits as possible.  I'd say a 30 KM radius from downtown is about the edge of how far people will go during GAG.
