I will be out and about this weekend but not sure if can make it to the event after.  I have a geocaching friend but she's kinda fallen off the radar so i've been solo caching lately (not as much fun but still the same high when you get a find).  I'm totally addicted but i feel I could be doing SO much more.  I've solved two puzzles (yet to go and get them) but you guys make me feel so..ah inadequate lol.

I will eventually get out and meet all you diehards and learn a pointer or two!  Thank you to all who have placed and maintained caches.  What a wonderful hobby!

If it makes you feel better, when I first participated in a GAG event (GAGE5, and yes, it was "GAGE" back then, not "GAG"), I had but 4 finds to my name. The good news was that I doubled my find count that weekend :D

Of course, back then bluelamb03 hadn't yet surpassed 4-digit finds, and model12 was but a glint in the GPS vendor's eye...

This morning was like Christmas, GAG caches under (or in) trees everywhere!

I have become aware of an image on cache page issue.  Groundspeak has been alerted and I will follow up later in day.

I have created a public GAG18 bookmark that everyone is free to use. Nothing on it from Model12 yet, so I think there are more to come...

Also, on my Zombie Vision cache, I have added a note with a link to the puzzle image in case you want to get to work on it.

I think it is related to the maintenance they did on GC.com last night.

When GC.com was down, none of the avatars on the GC forums were displaying.

Just checked the GC forums and avatars are still not showing, so I'm guessing something is up with the server that stores images.

Yes it was.

Checked my phone when I got up and saw the GMail M in my notification area.
I saw there were 25 messages and I got all giddy :)

I've never created a PQ from a bookmark list before.

I know you can only run the PQ once a day, but will a PQ created from a bookmark list continue to show new caches as the bookmark list is updated, or does is become static once the PQ is created?

Thanks. I'll make a final one Thursday night or Friday during the day.

I'm just running previews for now to get an idea of where they are located so I can get an idea how to best navigate to them while also getting my wife to/from work downtown Friday night & Saturday afternoon.

There are a few I am waiting to have enabled, and a few others holding for a reason.

My three are enabled now, and awaiting the green light. All trads in Barrhaven; no puzzles this year.

Just checked the one I had created earlier from a bookmark list by pressing the "preview in geocaching maps" image/link and it did pick up the new entries that were added to the bookmark list since the PQ was created (but not run).
