....is it basically everyone just going out by themselves to find as many as possible? Or is it a team activity? Any additional info would be appreciated. :) Thanks!

Yes. That's correct. ;)

You can pick off a few as time allows, or you can join up with a crew for carpooling, as time or preference allows.

The geoMob will be out on the Friday night, and there will be breakfast at Al's followed by a day of caching on Saturday too, but as BlackRose said you're likely to bump into other people no matter what during the event.

That's the beauty of having a whole bunch of us out and about in the same 24-hour span, all searching for the same 50-70 GAG caches... you're bound to bump into someone else eventually!  ;D

Some people prefer to cache independently and that's fine. Some people go for the big mob thing and follow the gang around all day. I tend to do a bit of both during GAG events, I'll follow a group for a while, then break off for a while in the afternoon to go buy a house or something, and then rejoin at 6pm for the dinner. (True story!)

Then when we get together at 6pm on Saturday, we swap stories, eavesdrop for hints, curse whoever hid the cache that gave everybody grief, vote for our favourites, and draw for prizes!

There will also be a slideshow of photos featuring cachers and caches taken over the previous year or so. All are welcome to submit photos for the slideshow.. just contact me via my profile!

Cachers toy box http://www.cacherstoybox.ca/ should be back at this GAG again.

I have 1 GAG cache enabled. It has been ready to publish since... March. I guess I didn't want the spot I picked for my multi to get taken! I'm planning on placing one more! And this kight be the first GAG I can show up to!

I was thinking about putting a second one out, but I decided against it due to the highly visible location.

My one GAG cache is approved and in the file for May 1st publication.

Due to time constraints I will only place one. It is all written up and ready to go, save for a final location. Will be putting together the container and placing it this weekend.

Remember guys, send me slide show pictures!

Now that you're all done being garbage pickers for the past two weekends  ;), it's time to party!  I hope you've all submitted your caches for publication by now, AND had someone beta test those puzzle solutions!

If you have not already done so, please take a moment to submit some of your interesting caching photos to GreyingJay to be included in the slideshow.

See you all next week on the yellow brick... trails.  8)

Found a place to stay for the night. Hope I don't get carried away caching and arrive at 3am. Not a good time to arrive at a friends house.

bookmarks of the GAG caches have been created. are they complete? anybody waiting on their cache to still be published (any stragglers)? looks like a good number that is doable in 24 hours!

::) I was wondering why there were no multi's for GAG19.

Just looked at the bookmark list and realized I don't get notifications for multi's (insert facepalm emoticon here)

EDIT: Some more trickling in now.
