We are up at Mohr Island until tomorrow (Saturday) at noon. If anyone would like to grab a boat cache without owning a boat, now is your opportunity. If you are interested, send an email via or a note on this forum.

Waxwing454 and I got out to the island yesterday and fixed the setup.  I found the cache on the ground near the tree and returned it to its spot.  It's now wired in place so it won't go flying again.

I'd encourage others to go explore this island and maybe bring a cache to place.  It's very accessible - flat, no heavy undergrowth, just a lot of ferns mostly.  There is a bit of brush between the sandy places but there are spots where people have made trails through and it's not hard to walk over it. We didn't see any poison ivy, poison parsnip, stinging nettle, or thorny stuff.  It could be pretty muddy in the spring and early summer but now it's ideal.  Lots of little sandy spots to land on.  A beautiful unspoiled island that only a few boaters seem to visit.
