Snake-bit by snakefang once again....
« on: June 19, 2014, 08:54:08 »
I found GC55G60 "LEAVE NO STONE UNTURNED" last night http://coord.info/GLEJEH6G

Over 100 meters from the posted..... and the error went uncorrected for weeks!

Fortunately we have 'paperless' caching capability, so we were able to read the logs for co-ordinate updates, and even just reading the cache description would clue you in as to where to look (who reads descriptions for traditional caches?!) but I wonder how many people wasted an evening combing the ditch at the intersection?

Does anyone remember "by hook or by crook" http://coord.info/GC4CFG4 by snakefang?  ???

And now one more example of this fine upstanding cacheowner:

On Tuesday the 5th of August I was FTF on "Sandy hills nooks and crannies" GC5A8MX but when I went to log it I discovered that "Cache is Unpublished"!!

This guy is driving me nuts.....

Ok I'm confused (not very hard to do ???) how did you get the co-ords to find it if it wasn't published

The was initially published, but then the error was discovered and a reviewer unpublished the cache, and it's now awaiting correction by the CO (snake-fang).
