Maps in geocaching.com
« on: October 15, 2014, 09:09:12 »
From a cache page one can generate a "geocaching.com map" showing all caches in the vicinity.
I have no problem viewing this is either map or satellite mode.
BUT ... I cannot PRINT the map properly.
Instead I get a fractured image typically with a blank horizontal band in it.
This happens regardless of portrait/landscape and regardless of the printer I use.
Also happens with my wife's laptop.
??? ???Does anyone know what's going on here?
BTW, if I save the map to a .pdf file, it's still distorted. Can share this if anyone wants.

This seems odd, but you could probably take a screenshot (PRTSC on Windows) and save the image, then print that. You will have to crop it using Photoshop or something similar that can manipulate pictures though.

What 8ender said....that is the method I use. Screen shot, crop with paint, print.
