CCC Christmas cache 2015
« on: December 31, 2014, 02:43:48 »
I wondered if you might suggest a location east this time.   The change is two-fold:  the current location does state 'no fires' and that's made others uncomfortable.   The second reason is that it's perhaps time we went east.

So far,  I've looked at Canotek road trails but too much grass.  I've also looked at the trails off Beaverbrook (the toboggan hill area trails) but too many trees and no open space.  I've looked at Tauvette off Old Innes Road (a possibility).

Some criteria to consider:  lots of parking, not too long a hike, preferably not too many ups and downs for people with toboggans, a fairly open area since sparks from the fire do travel

Any ideas?

I'll keep my eyes open for a suitable area.  I'm betting Anderson / Mer Bleu area or a bit further south in Ramsyville will produce a decent result.

Thanks Mike,
I have a cache not far from there to find.   I'll have a look.   Thanks
