Thanks, everybody! We look forward to getting our spiffy AFC jackets, learning the secret handshake, and lounging around the clubhouse, swapping tales of Binthairian exploits, and maybe having a beer with the master himself.

It was quite an adventure, and it's a bittersweet feeling to finish the challenge. It seems strange not to be planning our next assault on a Binthair cache. There is no lack of interesting and challenging caches out there that we have yet to do, but nothing quite like this series. Ah, the memories... the countless hours spent solving puzzles, examining trees for tags, bushwhacking... the bruises, scratches, wet feet, insect bites (and even one dog bite)... it was all worth it for that exhilarating feeling of finally making the find and signing the log, not to mention some great hikes and great sights, and discovering many cool places that we never knew existed.
We couldn't have done it without the help and encouragement we received from many of our fellow cachers. We mentioned them in our final Binthair log, but it's worth repeating the list here (and apologies if we've missed anyone): Kirok, venturer_catt, Karen of The Fossils, 3-Bearss, Brian of BrianDiane, and dadndaughter.
The Binthair caches may not be for everyone, but doing them was hugely satisfying for us, and we highly recommend them. Kudos to the CCC volunteers who have stepped up to keep them available, and we'd be happy to lend a hand with the maintenance chores in the future. There are several that we would not be keen to revisit, though.

Cheers,
Barry & Cathy
