Oregon Night Mode.
« on: January 08, 2011, 20:40:46 »
While surfing throught the GPS and Tech. section of the Groundspeak Forum, I came accross this nice little alternative for those of us who might miss the 'Night Mode' feature we had on our 60Cx or 60Csx's.  It is simply a black background that is applied to the mapset; replacing the tan colored one, thus giving the 'Night Mode' effect.  The only thing is...this trick only works with City Navigator mapsets and it has to be enabled and disabled. :-\

I installed it on my 400.  Haven't tested it yet, but the effect is pretty sweet lookin'. ;D So for those of you who want to check this thing out, the required file is posted on the GPSFileDepot website.  Here is the link: http://www.gpsfiledepot.com/maps/view/440.
