Logging Waymarks
« on: July 12, 2011, 19:06:53 »
So I started giving this waymarking thingey a try, and have created a few of my own.

I noticed that some waymark "owners" have logged their own waymarks as found. Is this a common and accepted practice?

Yep. Some of these waymarks take considerable effort to visit and record, so logging your own is a reward of sorts. Perfectly acceptable.

When Waymarking started, Jeremy Irish stated that he feels that people should log Visits to their own Waymarks. That would be how they would be able to provide their personal opinions on the location.

From the Waymark search I just did:

   model12 visited Model12       8/27/2011
I found myself today at the L&A event in Napanee.

 :D :D :D

Congrats, I've been searching for myself for years.
