Ammo Can Sales

Anyone know a good place to score an ammo can?  I am hoping for something in the east end but will travel for a cheaper price if necessary.

I've seen them at Princess Auto off Hawethorne which is somewhat east  :-\

I've also bought them at military surplus stores and they were pretty cheap. Not sure if there is one of those in Orleans.

You can also try paintball supply places.

Woot! My father in-law gave me a spare ammo can he had just lying around.  I see a new cache in my future.

Pricess Auto has not been in existence on Hawthorn for over 2 years now.  Not sure where it moved too.  I hve not seen any military surplus stores in the Orleans area and I lived there for many years.  The only place I know of that is a military surplus store per se is in Brockville or there should be some in Petawawa area.

If you find one in Ottawa, let everyone know.

Princess Auto is on Ages Drive about 300 yards off Hawthorne. There is a military surplus store in the market right near the market building. North-west corner, across the street.

There is an army surplus in Hull on Boulevard St Joseph ( http://maps.google.ca/maps/place?cid=10002773352347341145&q=Military+surplus&cd=1&ei=fPtxTLjWMZzAyQWQnvH8Dw&dtab=0&sll=45.41134,-75.645052&sspn=0.175307,0.310526&ie=UTF8&ll=45.564545,-76.008911&spn=0,0&t=h&z=11&iwloc=A ).  I've never been there so I can't say if they sell ammo cans.

They don't always have them, but I have bought ammo cans there before.  Not the cheapest place for them, but they were in perfect condition (other places sometimes have rusty banged up ones...)

Shopping around is the best option. Usually, the large one at this place are all rusted and not worth it (even at that price).

You sometimes have to pick through, but I've got some in fine shape from Princess Auto.
