Looks like one of the wee folks have acquired some of my rechargeables  >:(
Anyhow, if someone spots a sale, please post. In the market to buy at least 8 of them.

I just bought a four pack of Duracell pre-charged (rebranded Enloops), regularly $20.99, for $8.99 at Shoppers Drugmart.
Careful to check that they are 'Made in Japan' and have the white ringed top though, there were some on the same rack that weren't Enloops.

Thanks Lib; hopefully there's some on the shelf here at Rideau. Hopefully the white ringed top is evident through the packaging

The white top could be visible through the packaging but you still need to ensure they are not the made in china version.  I have seen white top china versions and white top japan versions.

I'll take a hard look at the packaging. It must be marked somewhere if their China/Japan made

Ya usually on the back of the package in the fine print.  It's there somewhere.

Those white topped made in Japan rechargeables were a hit. Unfortunately they are popular with a certain member of the family so I'm in the market for some more.
Hopefully someone posts when another sweet deal hits the radar.

Yah, mine seem to have found alternate homes as well...

Watch the Shopper's Drug Mart flyer ... or better yet, the next time you are in a Shoppers, just go check the battery wall, but don't trust what is marked on the tag on the wall, get the cashier to scan the batteries at the register since I've rarely paid the price posted on the wall.

Redflagdeals.ca has a long running discussion on where the best price is or upcoming sales on "Duraloops".

From my experience, Shopper's sale prices can't be beat on the white top "Duraloops". Shoppers will also have them on non-advertised sales. For non-sale prices, Costco is probably the next best, but Canada Computer also carries the original Eneloops.

Guess I'm not using Redflags to full advantage. Thanks for the tip. And yes, I noticed that not all Shopper's play off the same sheet pricing wise.
Now I have another reason to visit the Rideau besides the daily show  ;)

If anyone is looking for a good set of batteries, here's a deal from Dell (Sanyo Eneloop 6xAA, 6xAAA, Charger for $24.99). Looks like it's a 1 day deal though.
